Audio Capture and Transcription

Record, upload, and transcribe reliably.

Recording from the assistant panel

Click Record to capture live audio. You can pause/resume, then stop to start transcription. Short clips return results quickly; longer sessions may take longer to process.

Uploading large audio (resumable uploads to GCS)

For long files, the assistant uses resumable uploads to Google Cloud Storage. Upload progress is tracked, and transfers resume if interrupted.

Parallel chunk transcription and Deepgram option

Long audio can be split into chunks and transcribed in parallel for speed. Some deployments support a Deepgram option using short‑lived signed URLs for retrieval.

Troubleshooting common audio/transcription issues

• Low or no audio detected: Check microphone permissions and input device.
• Upload stalls: Re‑try; the upload will resume from the last completed byte.
• Transcript incomplete: Re‑run or verify source audio quality; consider chunk transcription.
• Authentication errors: Re‑login and ensure your account is authorized.
